Hi Chris,

Is this Francis Ballard the same person?
http://herbariaunited.org/collector/1731/

I'm not sure where the dates for that entry come from - on ancestry.co.uk I can only find someone who died in March 1976, rather than January.

There's also an odd conflict with Kent&Allen which lists the dob as 1897.

Any suggestions for his co-collectors, E Ballard and E A Golby?

Currently searching collecting dates in h@h finds:

E A Golby 8/9/1928 - 10/7/1929
E Ballard 12/7/1930 - 8/9/1931

Could it be that Miss Golby became Mrs Ballard at some time in 1929/30 ?
