'Marchioness of Mary Antoinetta Huntly' on the menu seems very ungrammatical. I couldn't locate Coed Coch

Wikipedia has a house/estate in Denbighshire called Coed Coch near Dolwen, and on the map at OS SH8874.

Smile

herb@home doesn't have proper formatting rules for the peerage...

presumably it should be

The Marchioness of Huntly

or possibly

The Most Honourable Mary Antoinetta, Marchioness of Huntly?

(but I take your point that the current format is definitely wrong)

Interesting that all her specimens are collected after the death of her husband in 1863. One specimen (351245) is from 'Hill of Stein'. Could this have been that on which Castle Stein stands above the spa of Baden in Switzerland? She would have had the time and money to visit.

The family had estates at Alwyne Castle in Scotland. This is difficult to trace as there is a much more famous pub of the same name in London! The seat in England was Orton Hall, Orton Longueville, Hunts. just south of the river Nene, with Northants. on the further bank, and only 10km from South Lincs.
