N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Is Centaurium tenuiflorum the correct name?

This is an important specimen. The current status of IoW records of this taxon should probably be Aff. Centuarium tenuiflorum. The flower colour is the most obvious disparity, and consistent by area, the Island's all being pink. There are other differences.

The Devon (vc9) sites on warm, wet landslipped clays contrast with vc10's (where there are similar habitats) being usually saltmarsh-edge clays, along the Solent shore of the Island. Several spots along the Medina, at King's Quay and with an outlier at Freshwater. None of them now extant. I visited the last known clump with PDS last year and we could find none.
