N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

G S S likely to be George Sidney Streatfeild. Appears to be MP rather than MD or MT

Almost certainly Streatfeild as he has another specimen of the same date from Presthope 326274 with his name in full. He has early collections in the herbarium of Augustin Ley where the handwriting looks similar.

His first specimen to date with Dulwich College ( 312917 ; which believe it or not is Teesdalia !!) dated 1890, has him as 'Vicar of Immanuel Church Streatham Common' only ~4km from Dulwich. According to the Wiki he was around London/St Albans until his death in 1921/2 - about the time that the strange handwriting ceases. Is he the writer of labels?!

I can find no record of him in the Dulwich College Register, though there are four pupils called Streatfeild, and one Streatfield.
