I wonder if this is a mistranscription of Flordon Fen? Flordon Common (around OS TM1897) 'contains areas of calcareous fen'.

In the Journal of Botany Vol 35, there is an article on The British Species of Euphrasia By F Townsend, and it refers to E nemorosa found at Fladen Fen by Ar.Bennett.

The cutting may refer to this same sheet, complete with any mis-spellings etc?
