N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

? Ashcroft may have been a site now lost to gravel digging, or even a house name, eg on the site of present day Ashcroft Close SU704761

Internet search suggests that there was an Ashcroft Farm between the Woodcote Road and Kidmore Road, and it is on the 1882 map. The name 'Ashcroft' appears on OS maps dating from the first half of the C20th and the 25000 map shows a gravel pit at SU703759. The area now built over and the name gone.
