N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

'Long Moss' - I found a Long Moss at Watendlath Fell in Cumberland, and a Longmoss W of Macclesfield in Cheshire; the picklist gives Selkirkshire but no grid/map link

Although I cannot find the place on the map, Edward Shearburn Marshall collected Carex diandra on 13/7/1892 from "Long Moss, Selkirkshire", and described it as "near Faldonside". Faldonside is in VC80 Roxburghshire, less than 1km from the Selkirkshire border on the River Tweed. Upper Feldonside was the home of botanist William Brack Boyd (1831-1918).

http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/400032/ seems to be uniform with this sheet, and http://herbariaunited.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12496 may relate also; each is from the Borders, and each links with other collector info
