Lots of useful and important snippets of information often get posted in reply to topics on the message board. The problem is that it's often hard to find this information again later. To help solve this I've added two additional tags to the message board:
Code:

[collector]nnn[/collector]

Displays an 'info box' for the collector, a map showing regions of activity and links to search for specimens.

and
Code:

[collectortag]nnn[/collectortag]

Adds a link to the collector's webpage.

where nnn is the numerical collector id (which you can get from the web address of the collector's page).

Adding either of these tags to a post also adds a link to your post to the collector's details.

To see how this works in practice, see Chris Liffen's post about RCR Jordan here and the reciprocal link back on the collector info page for RCR Jordan.

There are other posts on the message board which should be retroactively tagged with [collector] tags - if you spot any then please tell me and I'll add in the tag.

Tom,
can this reply of Chris Liffen's please be 'tagged' -I think this is the right way to go about it? http://herbariaunited.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4597

I am chasing up Dorothy Adlington Cadbury's history at the moment. Any info? I am thinking about writing to James Cadbury who I believe is her nephew?
