N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

mikedaps wrote
"Upper" somewhere but can't find one looking like 'sevencheley"?? and the date seems odd if really "Sub July 23" which take to be 'before July 1923' Ideas please.

I definitely read it as Saturday 23 (or maybe 27) July 1910 (but haven't checked on any sort of calendar) - he frequently wrote the day of the week. I definitely read the place as Upper Soudley, which is in the Forest of Dean between Blakeney & Cinderford.
