N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

'C J Tenyson'?? or C J Tempere?? It may be that the sheets signed by him read like 'Tenyson' whereas compare those labels written by West, where the neater handwriting clearly reads Tempere eg: http://herbariaunited.org/sheets/BIRM/19067.jpg
Both these specimens were collected at Colchester (which Berechurch is part of), as is:

I've merged Tenyson (and Tenysen) into C J Tempere, as they definitely look thoroughly confused, but what exactly the name should be I'm still uncertain.

thanks for that, another permutation being Joannes Albert Tempere nee Jean Clodius who I haven't investigated. Tempere signatures tend to be lacking, the name is entered on other people's labels; I see one 'herb Tempere' label (no initials): http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/236870/
I recall previous H@H info was of a professional slide-mounter eg http://www.maggs.com/title/NH26928.asp
