N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Site - Muella Prop. ?? (Prop. = near?) Babington's collections from this time are 4th & 11th November, N W Yorkshire. Although Muel is a place in Spain I find no place in Britain beginning Minel or Muel, and discount Minera Denbighshire.

This taxon was not found in Wales or Ireland until much later than 1842 so, assuming the specimen is British, it must have collected in Scotland.

"Muella Prop." might be an attempt at 'Meall a' [Prop]' where 'meall' is the Gaelic for a hill but 'Prop' might be anything.
