These initials "W W B" belong to William Walsham How (1823-1897). He was suffragan Bishop of Bedford 1879-1888 and signed himself 'WWB'; on being appointed Bishop of Wakefield in 1888 he signed himself 'WWW'. He wrote the hymn 'For all the Saints' and died on a fishing holiday in Co Mayo.
