N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

There are 3 Box's on the OS maps, and no collector anyone recognise the handwriting?

This Box is probably SO862002 near Minchinhampton vc 34 West Glos.

The collector appears also to have collected
http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/309055/ and http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/311317/

I would hazard an informed guess and say that the collector was Miss Mary Playne Smith (1816-1877) of Nailsworth who formed an herbarium between 1840 and 1850 (presented to GLR in 1945) and contributed a list of plants to "Notes and Recollections of Stroud" by Paul Hawkins Fisher (1871).
