Bootle - Groom /M&M collected in South Lancashire which I think is likely; though he does also have specimens from Cumberland

Bootle sands - Bootle Cumberland is not far from sandy shores; and yet Bootle Lancs adjoins a place called Sandhills, and may once have been as sandy as nearby Crosby
