When I looked at the sheet I thought I could see 'urnside'. Google of 'urnside Shrewsbury' suggests 'Burnside Gardens' a modern cul-de-sac (OS SJ485103) above the Rae Brookk, at Meole Brace, only ~2km from the school.

Yes, it does look like Arnside; there are similar Lake Dist specimens in SHYB from that year eg http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/231809/
