N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Label at right: 'I B W L' = Dr John Bland Wood? Site illegible, looks loke 'Cottresell' - Wood's sheets this month (day not specified) are from Surrey & Bristol - Frampton Cotterell? BUT also same species from Tyldeley 29/5/1842 - is there a similar place-name in that area? Left label: Westleigh, 1 mile west of Leigh, SE of Wigan, Lancs, has grid ref SD647013 and is a short distance from Tyldesley - I've re-edited site location accordingly

I've added back the note about Mr Buxton, in case his specimen is better documented and turns up elsewhere.

What do you make of the year, I still think 6/1842 rather than 1841?

I'm not certain that Wood was collecting in Bristol, the sheets from there are not necessarily his (may all be ex herb, collected by others).

What's the meaning of scripsit in this context? I took it to mean determined by (as in wrote name).

I think 1842 on the l-h label, and 1841 on the r-h. I certainly stick with Westleigh Lancs SD60 for the l-h label and my note was meant to discount the Bristol area. For the r-h label, I now suggest Cotterill Clough, see the similar BON label on: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/284864/ Shall we edit it in? I meant no disrespect to the Mr Buxton reference.
