I've split this into two specimens, the lower specimen collected by Parson on 24th June (he was on Jersey on that date) and the upper by the unknown ? Simel on 6/8/1883.

Think he found a particular fern .....
Report 1912, p. 186. ASPLENIUM LANCEOLATUM, var. SINELII.
