notes:'Carried home in fishing bag. Lyons, the Keeper, said it was not introduced on the bank, where I have long known it, nor to the further site under the trees whence these came today.' ' Next day I was taken ill for some weeks and these were forgotten and not found until may 18th. Hence the papers were never once dried or changed.'
