notes:[Handwritten note:] ?Salicornia prostrata Pallas var. Smithiana Moss & Salisb. Name suggested by C. Bucknall for this woody ascending form with very long lower branches.
[Additional info on typeset note:] Name suggested by C. Bucknall for this woody ascending form with very long lower branches, some of which were torn off by the collector - H.S. Thompson. This appears to be S. prostrata var. Smithiana Moss & Salisb. x probably with S. ramosissima. It is certainly not typical of the former species - E.J. Salisbury.
Filing note:Salicornia stricta var procumbens/S. europaea
