notes:At Appledram there are two rows of trees. Near Old Park Farm a few trees. On the other side of Chichester, near The Broyle, several long rows. The leave when fresh were mostly incurved from the midrib. The trees are pyramidal in shape, with rather straight ascending lateral branches -J. E. Little
