Pierre Alfred Déséglise (28/10/1823-13/12/1883)

Biography

Until 1870 he collected in France, especially in the area of Lamothe d'Insey at Mehurn-sur-Yèvre, where he lived. He lived initially in Graire (Cher). During the Franco-German War 1870/71 he collected in Germany. In 1871 he moved to Geneva and made contact with the Geneva botanists. 1874-1876 he was an assistant at the Conservatoire in Geneva.
