This post is about a sheet with no image, specimen 209412. It isn't possible to check the date on this, 8/7/1929, but I would bet that it is a misreading of 8/7/1939 - Wallace had quite small writing and his 2s and 3s can look similar. It appears that Wallace was on holiday in South Somerset in July 1929, as he has collections from 7/7/1929 (a Sunday) until 19/7/1929 (a Friday), although on Monday 15th he took a trip to Ilfracombe in North Devon. Perhaps he travelled by train on the Saturdays.

By the following Saturday, 27th, he was back on Fetcham Down in his home county of Surrey.
