Current progress

The bulk of the specimens for documentation currently are from Aberystwith University herbarium's collection of British plants (around 15000 sheets). I'm in the process of uploading about 22000 images from Birmingham University. There are also sheets from Shrewsbury School and from Launceston Museum's collection and sets of hybrid mints, willows and spiraea from Liverpool Museum and Cambridge University.

Watch-lists

You can now receive email updates whenever herbarium specimens of interest to you have been documented. You can choose to be notified when particular taxa are documented, or when records from a particular area (either a specific place name or a county) are recorded.

Email updates can be sent daily, weekly or monthly.

Updates to the documentation form

I've updated the documentation form, changes include support for grid references and multiple collection dates. For more info visit the message board.

I hope that the direction and development of the project can be driven by feedback from participants. Please let us know what changes and improvements you'd like to see.
