I think the top label is Hindhead but not sure of year 1888 or 1886? the bottom label has a clear date but can't read location

Yes Hindhead; and Hurtwood. As it does not say The Hurtwood [wooded hill OS SU9938] I would bet on Hurt Wood north of Holmbury Hill, a small settlement in TQ04, and with the wood of the same name streaching into TQ14.
