N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Salvia pratensis seems a mis-identification. Amwell is S of Wheathampsted, Gt & Lt Amwell are S of Hertford and St Margaret's close by; I can't find Amwell Bury, but maps of all of these sites show Roman or earlier archaeology nearby

There's a web page about Amwell Bury a country estate and shown on old OS maps at the point where Amwellbury Farm now stands, OS TL363129. The name only shows at scales of 1:25000 or larger.

David Price has looked closely at this specimen, and it definitely appears to be S verticilata; which he points out Cooke has another sheet labelled as such, from Great Amwell, http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/362376/
