This reads to me also as 'Mr Holmes'. I do not know aught of him, but the style of printed sheets I certainly think is one of the many mostly anonymous herb. F S Bennet none of which seem to be from Kent or a Mr Holmes - see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/303842/

Some similar Holmes sheets have now turned up - likely to be E M Holmes, born Sevenoaks
