N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The GR if interpreted correctly as SP0880 is for Billesley Common in S Birmingham. The GR for Evesham is SP04. Both in Worcs, not Warwicks - and far apart. Evesham Road Cookhill, Alcester is SP0558, Evesham Road Stratford-upon-Avon is SP1954

Two of Clark's specimens (303672 305134) have handwritten labels as well as the typed ones, which offers the chance of typographical errors.

Indeed sheet 257561 has what may be such an error of 'Bunback Cottage', where the OS map has 'Bowback'.

My guess here is that the intended grid ref. is SP0850, east of Salford Priors and the Evesham Road (probably then the A439) where the River Arrow joins the Avon just inside Warwickshire.

That sounds very likely to me, but I find the county boundary confusing and can't easily check the VC boundary (assuming the project used them). The situation isn't helped by Clark having 3 'picklist identities'. I found a specimen of his from the above mentioned Salford Priors, labelled with the Grid Ref '0649' http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/278065/

For VC boundaries relating to grid references on the map I would go to Bedfordshire NHS 'Grab a grid reference', enter SP0649, and then select 'Warwickshire' from the 'Toggle Vice-County' menu. It looks as though the 'Flora of Warwickshire' team worked right up to the boundary!
