N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Should not the species name be as I have amended it?

Hi Keith,

thanks for reporting this. I've updated the taxon list to link B. arvensis with L. arvense, 5 other sheets where also affected by this change.

(the sheet had been filed according to the Flora Europaea classification)

regards,

Tom

And indeed see info on the 'Doncaster / Huntingdon collector' and suggestion of possibly the Fryer family - or conceivably F Townsend or even F Cheffins
