N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Sheep Hill (Co. Rosscommon), or Steephill IoW, latter seems much more likely as Townsend and many others collected there.

A.J.H.
His father was John Hambrough and his mother was Sophia (? e) Townsend Hambrough – she was a daughter of Gore Townsend (who was grandfather to Frederick Townsend – author of The Flora of Hampshire) and Elizabeth Windsor . His father and mother died in February, 1863 – within days of each other. They lived at Steephill Castle, IOW ; this was famous for its walks and views.
