N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Cannot read the name of the woods - it appears to be collected from the edges of "Braxork" woods??

Is there any way to hide the persistent yellow comments that pop up when I move the mouse over the screen - they interfere with typing and are very intrusive. Thanks.

Hi Jo,

welcome to herb@home Smile

I think the place name is "Broxash Wood" (searching Google gives several references to this), I've not managed to find a grid ref. for it though.

You can turn off the supposedly helpful messages by clicking on 'Hide extended help text' (near the bottom of the page, below the 'save' button).

regards,

Tom
