N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

B taken as Banffshire - Johnston could be Henry Halcro Johnston born 1856? Or George Johnston died 1855? Though I doubt either

Pencil note lower right corner says VC81 so more likely Gordon Berwickshire NT6543. George Johnston as author of 'Flora of Berwick-upon-Tweed' would seem a likely candidate, but the printed label isn't typical.

Aha - Berwickshire, yes I can go along with that - and within reach of Chirnside, site of http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/391838/

I now see that the label here doesn't look typical of George Johnston because other similar examples in h@h have been interpreted as Henry Halcro Johnston.
