'Carex remota x vulpina = C. axilaris' as the name given on h@h to over 40 sheets: no hybrid of these species appears to exist. Carex axillaris (note spelling) is the former name (CTW2) of Carex otrubae x remota = C. x pseudoaxillaris (as per Jermy's determination label, which is how the taxon appears in Stace 2 and in the BSBI Sedges Handbook 3rd edition).
