N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Cantire is presumably the old spelling of Kintyre, vc101; but I can find no place called Loch Errol; Errol is the name of distant places in Moray and in E Perthshire, the latter very lacking in lochs. 2 other sheets of Salmon's are similarly uncertain: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/234752/ & http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/389522/

Loch Errol appears on the 1st edition OS but is now named Loch Arail, NR8079.
