N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

How did this curator manage to poorly transcribe so many labels (headed 'British Isles')? I can only guess Pontrilas, Herefordshire. Lyston House is at Llanwarne SO4928, several miles E of Pontrilas & due S of Hereford

R M Lingwood in later life lived at Lyston House; George Bentham as a young man lived at Pontrilas; both localities were on Rev A Ley's "beat".
