N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Trawscoed is to be found in both Carmarthenshire at SN565375 near Rhydcymerau, and in Powys - the former not too far from Painter's other localities of the time, in Cardiganshire

I've now found a Wikipedia entry, 'The Trawsgoed Estate (Welsh for "Crosswood") is an estate located eight miles (13 km) east of Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, Wales, that has been in the possession of the Vaughan family since 1200.[2] The family are descended from Collwyn ap Tangno, founder of the fifth noble tribe of North Wales, Lord of Eifionydd, Ardudwy, and part of Llŷn, who had his residence on the site of Harlech Castle.[3] The land falls within the ancient parish of Llanafan,[4] in the upper division of the hundred of Ilar' grid ref given as SN669731
