Tom,

When completing the flowering status field I find it is necessary to move the cursor off the form and and bash the laptop touch pad to 'fix' the selected choce, otherwise the choice will be lost when 'save' is selected. I notice when reviewing specimens that the flowering status is often blank, so it must be a general, not merely personal, occurrence. Or is that just the way things are?

I'm not sure why this should be happening. What web browser version are you using e.g. Internet Explorer 6 or 7, firefox etc.? So far as I know this is not a common problem (at least it has not been reported before).

I'd assumed that in many cases users where ignoring the flowering field, or unable to decide on the flowering state.

I'll test again in various web browsers to see if I can find the problem.

regards,

Tom
