1837 or 1857?? Syme has 2 similar sheets dated 1835, and one dated 1837, though not collected by him, whereas this label could be his own - he was then aged 13. A quick glance shows around ten specimens pre-1840 possibly collected by him

Of those other pre-1840 specimens, certainly none pre-1838 were his own specimens. Those from 1838 have only printed labels
