N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This is surely a mistranscription for Thomas Whitelegg? He seems to have been in Barmouth then - See http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/258330/

Brilliant lateral thinking Smile

I wasn't happy with 'Whiklys' but didn't search much for other options - it was late at night and my main aim had been to correct sheets which were flagged as having impossible collectors (by date).

regards,

Tom
