The flowers may be Nymphaea alba, but the leaf is surely Nuphar lutea.

True, the leaf is indeed N lutea which I dismally failed to spot.. should it be recorded as a separate specimen correctly named in the first field? Mike d'A

Yes, as a mixed collection, I suppose. Easy enough to do if you're grapnelling.
