N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This is all very speculative as all there is about C W Wade on the site is from 35 years earlier! Not sure about the ID either (perhaps T. platyphyllos) but likely.

As good a guess, if not better, than any is that this is A E Wade (1895-1989) of NMW and author of Floras of Monmouthshire, of Glamorgan etc.

Of course! I wonder why only C W dropped down? Perhaps I was in too much of a hurry!
Thanks
