N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I did not succeed in identifying this site. The nearest collection I found of Ley's in date, was 16/10/09, Wantage, Berkshire - but I found no Walford House there.

Might it not be the Southern of the two Herefordshire Walfords SO5921 - There is Walford Court and Walford Ho close buy each other and a dismantled railway to get there by from Sellack... (The Northern Walford SO3972 has a Lodge and Farm but no obvious "House") As for which it might be I'd guess Walford Ho ('House' on some maps) which looks like a 20thCent re-development leaving no trace of an orchard or "House"...

Thanks! As a very likely possibility - right in the heart of Ley's area and below Howle Hill, I have edited it in . I have found 3 other collections by him from there.
