N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I just happen to know it's Kirby........just down the road from his usual haunt of Walton-on-the-Naze - and could be either Kirby Cross or Kirby-le-Soken (which are adjoining anyway); his other occasional site is the neighbouring Thorpe-le-Soken (and sometimes Great Oakley) both often abbreviated also.

Thanks.
In another life I used to sail in that area so know the backwaters well, I guessed it was Essex and went through a list of Place names trying to match I, J, T, K, to places never gave a thought to abbreviating them.
