oldnick wrote
1 specimen with fruits, 1 with flowers; Mrs Ainsworth's collection undated & relationship if any not known to Ainsworth whose 1830 - 1850 collections from the same area are in MANCH; the later collection may be Mrs Bennett's own. Her specimens come from 3 periods; the 1830s from numerous botanists, the 1870s her own from Cheshire, and the 1890s; the very uniform handwriting on these familiar sheets may suggest the specimens were all mounted in the latter period.
