N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Any suggestions for collector or 'Garble Scotland'? I've only done a superficial search of other specimens this summer

See http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/342073/ collected in 1861 by Charles Baron Clarke (1832-1906) at Loch Tilt at NN995823 (VC89 East Perths).

Close by is Allt Garbh Buidhe. Garbh (pronounced garve) is the Gaelic word for rough. Perhaps there's another local feature that would equate to Garble.

Yes the similarity of the details, handwriting, style of label etc is very clear so I'll edit accordingly
