N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Sure I've seen Wilts colln somewhere else but can't trace it - Is it a ref to county or a person?? No date or collector...

I documented one a few weeks ago which I read as "Witts colln" and understood to refer to Rev E F Witts of Upper Slaughter. A note in Flora of Gloucestershire states that Witts's specimens are all c. 1836.

The locality of this specimen is "Guiting Brakes".

Thanks re Witt and date. Re place name: I can't trace a Guiting Brakes - am I right in guessing its in the vicinity of Guiting Power??

Probably. There's a Grange Brake at SP110238 just south east of Guiting Power.
