Nick I think this collector may be Jean Picquet
- see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/298404/ where the label handwriting is the same and has his full signature.

C'est magnifique, mais ce n'est pas possible! Je pense que c'est le handwriting de Langley Kitching, et le handwriting de Monsieur Picquet n'existe pas dans H@H. Au contraire, regardez http://www.manuscripts.co.uk/stock/24520.HTM.

I'm not suggesting it is his handwriting but it has got his full name on the sheet I referred to and in the same stylised hand.
