N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Collector - sheet is anonymous but I see very similar sheets have been attributed to Henry Haselfoot Haines, eg:
http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/243613/
http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/243613/
and many others from Somerset and elsewhere; some dated before Haines is stated on H@H as returning long-term to Britain. Do people agree this is correct - either collected by or ex herb; as if so I will edit a number of other unattributed similar sheets; however the handwriting is not the same as that given as his handwriting sample.

The hand writing sometimes comes with an annotation in pencil - H H Haines. The specimens range over a period of 40+ years, and includes periods when Haines was Conservator of Forests in India.
However, there were various members of the Haines family who collected plants and insects, including his brother and his nieces. At the moment, it is probably best to ascribe such sheets as ex herb Haines - as they may be associated with the family - though the actual provenance remains a bit of a mystery.
