collector - possibly resembles a neat form of Riddelsdell's handwriting? Specimen of H pulchrum collected by him same date & place: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/310728/
but note Lancaut spelt 'Llancaut' on this sheet suggesting a curator?

From 1897 Riddelsdell lived in Aberdare and then Llandaff so it's not surprising that he should have thought "Llan".
