N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

The specimens, starting in the top right hand corner and proceeding anticlockwise, have been numbered 2, 3, 1 (or 4?), 2, 5 and the labels read -

2. "In meadows around Weston 1851"

3. "Meadow below Paper Mill West Ashling". This is near Funtington.

1. "Mermaid's Pits - near Bray MNL 1847". I take the interpretation of the locality on trust but if Bray is correct wouldn't a reference to gravel pits near Bray, Berks, be more likely?

2."Old Basing" etc

5. "nr Queensferry" ERB (?). Another Queensferry (Flintshire?) specimen from this collector at http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/282374/?image

West Ashling; just S W of Funtington, where Groom so often collected - label is in his writing; as are Weston-super-Mare (label top right) and Taunton, other favourite spots. Anyone recognise initials on Queensferry specimen? Mermaid's Pits - I couldn't find this; this handwriting is usually initialled C N (who that is we may never know), but on this occasion the initials are ??M H L.
