N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

All these names sound Norwegian (or Swedish) to me. There are several places called Christiana or similar. The Dovre Fiord is in Norway. The Christiana label says cult. hort.

I would say both specimens are definitely from Norway.

The top label reads 'North Dovre Nysterhoe' 'C Eegenstierna'. Dovre is in Oppland, Norway; and A Ley collected there himself in the same year.

Christiania was until 1925 the name for Oslo, Norway; Ley collected there in 1937 also, at least one of his sheets being clearly labelled 'Christiania Norway'.

Several of Ley's sheets have been entered on H@H as from Denmark, but none of these name the country on the label; all are from Christiania, and I would advise these are all from Oslo, as Ley collected many specimens in Norway.

Sorry, typo - Ley collected in Norway 1873, not 1937!
